The investment seeks long-term growth of capital and income.
Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of large companies. For purposes of this fund, a large company is a company with a market capitalization in the range of companies in the Russell 1000 Index at the time of purchase. It uses a multi-manager approach under the general supervision of SIMC. SIMC allocates most of the fund's assets among multiple Sub-Advisers that use different investment strategies to seek to achieve returns in excess of the performance of the Russell 1000 Index.
