The investment seeks long-term total return.
The fund seeks to outperform the returns of the Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Total Return Index (DJ-UCI). It invests primarily in derivative instruments, including commodity-linked notes, commodity total return swaps and commodity futures, and also in money market instruments and the Subsidiary. The fund will invest up to 25% of its assets in the Subsidiary. It will generally maintain in the range of 40% to 70% of its net assets in cash and cash equivalent instruments including affiliated money market funds. The fund is non-diversified.
