The investment seeks total return, consistent with income generation and prudent investment management.
The fund invests primarily in bonds and maintains an average portfolio duration that is within ±20% of the duration of the Barclays Capital Intermediate Government/Credit Index. It invests at least 80% of assets in bonds. The fund only buys securities that are rated investment grade at the time of purchase by at least one major rating agency or determined by the fund management team to be of similar quality. The dollar-weighted average maturity will be between 3 and 10 years.
