The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors® Global Solar Energy Index.
The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise its benchmark index. The index, which is the fund's benchmark index, is comprised of equity securities of companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from photovoltaic and solar power, or the provision of solar power equipment/technologies and materials or services to solar power equipment/technologies producers.
