In selecting securities for the Sanlam Global Equity Fund, the Manager shall seek to achieve and investment medium for investors which shall have as its primary objectives a reasonable level of current income and maximum stability for capital investors and by utilising the benefits of the exchange rate and changes therein, to offer investors a medium whereby they can obtain, for valuable consideration, an interest or undivided share in securities of listed companies and interest bearing securities and to share proportionally in the income derived from such investments.
At least 85% of the assets of this Fund will be invested in offshore equity markets; At least 75% of the market value must be invested in equities at all times; up to 20% of the value of the Fund may be invested in other collective investment schemes.
