The Fund pursues long term capital growth by investing mainly in equity securities of companies in emerging markets. For the purposes of this Fund, the portfolio managers define emerging markets as any country other than the developed markets of Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and Western Europe. Investments can be made in countries that the portfolio managers believe have weak economies and/or unsophisticated markets.
