The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth in the value of assets by investing in companies which the Company believes will benefit from the economic growth and development of China.
The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 70% of its total assets at any one time in equities in companies quoted on Recognised Exchanges in China and Hong Kong and incorporated in China and Hong Kong, or which have a significant proportion of their assets or other interests in China or Hong Kong. The Investment Manager may also invest in equities in companies elsewhere in the Asia Pacific ex – Japan region with the potential, in the opinion of the Investment Manager, to benefit from the development of China.
