The investment seeks capital growth and reasonable current income.
The fund normally invests at least 60% of assets in common stocks and securities convertible into common stocks and at least 25% of assets in fixed-income securities. It may invest up to 20% of net assets in foreign securities. The fund may invest up to 15% of net assets in REITs. It may also invest in mortgage-backed securities, collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs) and asset-backed securities.
