 The Chicago Booth Private Equity Conference is one of the premier private equity conferences in the region. Each year, it brings together financiers, students, and entrepreneurs to network and share insights into the dynamics of investing in a constantly changing economy. Launched in 2002, the conference allows private equity professionals in Chicago and the greater Midwest region to establish and continue a dialogue with peers in the industry, promote their work, and grow their networks. Last year's conference was the largest yet, drawing professionals from over 100 firms and approximately 400 attendees.

 
This year's conference is themed "Expanding Private Equity beyond Traditional Models" and will include keynote speakers Glenn Hutchins of Silver Lake, Steve Taslitz of Sterling Partners, and Jeff Burgis of Adams Street Partners. It will also feature interactive panels on the following topics: Fundraising: A New Paradigm; Due Diligence and the 100 Day Plan; Alternatives to Traditional Exit Strategies; Active Ownership: Keys to Success in a New Economic Environment; and New Ways of Finding Value.
